A World of Siris

I think we're heading for a world of Siris.

The technology exists.  A phone can recognize my voice and interact with me.  And not just interact but answer questions, comprehend, respond.  Now, that is quite amazing.

My question is:  What will the world look like in a year, two years, five years from now?  Will all the check out clerks at grocery stores be Siri?  What about checking your luggage at the airport?  My waiter at my favorite restaurant?  Will I confess my sins to Father Siri?

Think about this.  Just five short years ago, the first iPhone was introduced.  But Siri uses the past 40 years of research to help understand and recognize the human voice.  And in two months since Siri was officially added as an integrated part of the iPhone (rather than a standalone app), everyone raves.  Many love her "personality." Many loves to ask silly questions.  Many love to take advantage of voice-to-text capabilities.  What do you love about Siri?
