Real World Experience

Combining 20+ years in the public relations/ marketing/publicity fields with an equally long career in higher education, Hohle brings the best of both worlds to bear on the important communication challenges and opportunities of the day.

Hohle’s scholarship is in both in mass media (film) and organizational communication. His published work centers on reader-response theory, but he also has written and presented work on power and organizational life. Visit his bookshelf on Amazon.

Hohle has presented nationally and internationally as a member of the Society for the Cognitive Study of the Moving Image and other professional organizations. As a consultant, he has served a number of not-for-profit organizations in creating governance and branding their mission.

In addition to serving other organizations as a consultant, Hohle owns and operates Parabolic Media. For over 30, Hohle has written and produced media for clients across the U.S. as well as in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America. Currently, he serves as board president and interim CEO of a startup that aims to provide non-emergency medical transportation to cancer patients living in rural America.
